Ugo Gattoni, the cartoonist who tells stories

A graduate in visual communication, Ugo Gattoni did not seem, at first glance, destined to become an artist. The designer, in fact, began his career in a very different way, in sports studies in swimming.
On his mother's advice, he finally joined an art school to become an artistic director, which fascinated him and gave birth to his vocation. Gradually, the young artist specialized in large formats. He created frescoes on rolls several meters long, mixing realistic decorations and imaginary details. Parisian by birth, he confides admiring the capital and having drawn it many times. He even declares, on the official website of the Olympic Games, having photographed a Haussmannian balcony hundreds of times in order to produce a drawing respecting both the perspective and his style.

His passions for art and sport made Ugo Gattoni the ideal candidate to composethe official poster of the Olympic Gamesand the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. The young cartoonist has created an illustration that is now known throughout the world, representing the Eiffel Tower, the Place du Trocadéro and Haussmannian buildings, populated by a crowd of enthusiastic characters in a very colorful but never overloaded setting. A particular style recognizable among thousands, associated with one of the biggest sporting events on the planet.
