Roland-Garros 2021 magnet by Jean CLARACQ
The official 2021 Roland-Garros poster, created by French artist Jean Claracq, is distinguished by its unique and intimate atmosphere, in perfect resonance with one of the tournament's major innovations: the launch of evening matches. The light from the floodlight illuminating the court at twilight gives the scene a poetic and contemporary dimension, reinforced by precise work on perspective and composition. Jean Claracq draws inspiration from the architecture and structure of cities, recurring elements in his work, to create a poster where every detail is transcribed with meticulousness. This creation celebrates the modernity of Roland-Garros while paying tribute to the unique atmosphere of Parisian evenings on clay.
