2013 Roland-Garros magnet by David NASH
The official 2013 Roland-Garros poster, created by renowned British sculptor David Nash, celebrates the yellow ball, one of the tournament's most iconic symbols. Through poetic abstraction, Nash marries strength and delicacy in a luminous composition where tennis balls seem to swirl between heaven and earth, above an imaginary net. This work reflects the brilliance of a sunny Parisian spring and echoes the power of rallies on clay. Nash's creativity unites with that of the tournament to offer a radiant, vibrant poster full of energy, where the simplicity of the yellow ball becomes a metaphor for the vitality and passion of tennis at Roland-Garros.
