Roland-Garros 1992 magnet by Jan VOSS
The official 1992 Roland-Garros poster, created by German artist Jan Voss, is a celebration of the creativity and diversity of tennis through a vibrant and colorful composition. A master of collage, watercolor, and sculpture, Jan Voss plays here with materials, shapes, and colors to represent the tournament's universe. The poster features ball marks, a stylized racket, and a net, all integrated into a graphic mosaic where every element seems to be in motion. This work captures the most vivid facet of tennis: that of inventiveness, spontaneity, and the freedom of the game. Through his playful and experimental approach, Jan Voss gives Roland-Garros a poster that is immediately recognizable, both contemporary and timeless.
